Will UK Hosting Prices Ever Be As Low As Amercia?
Hosting in considerably cheaper in the US then in the UK. The reason is because the UK is much more expensive, this doesnt mean prices are automatically higher. The costs of the buildings (in which the servers are kept), staff wages, electricity, heating and phone lines all cost more in the UK, this is what pushes the prices up.
However I still believe UK hosting is good value for money for UK websites. It makes communicating with the company easier and benefits geo targetting in the search engines. It is also good to support your businesses closer to home.
So will the UK hosting prices ever come down as low as the US? I doubt it, not in the next decade anyway.
